About Sophrosyne Wellness
We are National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches who are skilled and passionate about supporting people through the journey of behavior change.
We help people achieve personal and professional goals, improve nutritional habits, manage stress and anxiety, control blood pressure, decrease inflammation, reduce stress, build relationships, improve exercise and movement habits, sleep better, identify and practice intentional self-care, and more. Through explorative conversations using our background, education, and experience in integrative health coaching, we work with each person to provide support on envisioning ideal health, as well as guidance and resources to carry out personal health and wellness goals.

What is Sophrosyne?
Sophrosyne, pronounced : suh-FROS-uh-nee, is a Greek word for having a healthy state of mind and deep awareness of oneself. It is feeling healthy in mind, body, and spirit.
Sophrosyne derives from the word sophron, being sound of mind. Sophrosyne is a state, a concept, a virtue. It is characterized by a number of qualities; temperance, moderation, prudence, all coming together to form the ideal character. It’s having self-control, self-knowledge, and forethought. It is a balance.
All the above, when brought together, create a life of harmony, of peace and of happiness.

Providing You with a Safe Space
The approach and intention in our confidential sessions is to provide a comfortable, non-judgemental, and open-minded space to envision your best health, design, and carry out your personal health and wellness goals.
Virtual or In Person Sessions
Sessions are held either in person at our Mint Hill, NC office or virtually from the comfort of your own home. The initial session is typically 45 minutes to 1 hour. Follow up sessions are about 20 minutes in length.
A FREE 15 minute consultation is offered to help answer any questions about coaching prior to the initial session.
